You came into my life one day,
Very quietly crept into my soul.

This started out as friendship,
That will never change.

My soul was kissed by sunlight,
My heart by the rainbow of love.

We put into this relationship
Our very hearts and souls

We learned we were so different
Both having different expectations,

We have grown so far apart
Now we must find away of letting go.

As I lay and reminisce all we shared I hurt
Now I must allow the spirits to show the way
