Sayon ra pag apil ug gun club, any gun club. Basta may money ka. Money? Yes, MONEY! Why? For example, you're in Cebu, gusto ka muapil ug gun club, let's say you want to join the CPRA (Cebu Pistol and Rifle Association), ang ila membership fee is 30 thou. Or if you're in Leyte, you can join LEYSA (Leyte Shooters Association), ang ila membership fee is 20 thou. Or if you're in Ormoc, you can join ORGUN (Ormoc Gun Club), ang ila membership fee is 25 thou. I dont know how much BGCI will charge you, before, Mr. Ben Ricafort charged me 1 thou for my membership fee.

Aside from the membership fee, you have to spend a fair amount of money for your equipment, that is, your gun, holster, belt, extra magazine, shells/bullets.

    For my unsolicited advise:
    - Ayaw derecho apil ug gun club, paniid usa sa mga members
    - ask yourself, what's your main purpose? so you can carry and brag your gun?
    - Ayaw dayon palit ug pusil, suway usa pag pabuto sa mga magkalain lain nga mga pusil, sama sa cal. 45, 40, super 38, and 9mm.
    - Invest on a good gun! It is not important nga basta mubuto ok na.

I dont know in Biliran Gun Club, but in Ormoc, you can visit the shooting range every Sunday, members would do their "tambay" during that day and they'll be happy to let you test fire their guns. In Ormoc, you can visit the Gunsport Trading (infront of Footsteps) for inquiries. However for Biliran Gun Club, try to contact Ben Ricafort or Arlan Granali or Homer Ampong. I guess Homer is connected with Naval Institute of Tech.

Am Ormoc based and i'll be happy to accomodate you whenever you'll visit the Ormoc Gun Club shooting range.

You see? Sayon ra kaayo pag pa member, sa? They dont even bother to check your identity. They dont even bother to check if you have a pending case in court. Just pay the amount, presto! Your a member. Mas lisod pa diay mag apply ug electric connection sa Bileco, sa? Hahaha! Funny isnt it? But please don't get mad people, i dont want to offend anyone, the real meat of the matter is, can you really keep up with the sport you intend to play with or participate? Or you might end up just like the others who brag around their shirts with BGC printed on it like its some kind of a badge? Or you might end up like the other BGC members (i heard some were RO's - range officers) who would do their (indiscriminate) firing in the grassy, forested area near San Juan? My point here is very glaring. I want to see a more disciplined and responsible gun owners. An active practical shooting enthusiasts.

As far as i observed, kasagaran nisamot kahambog sa dihang na-member na sila sa BGC, flashing around stickers, shirts as if its their badge to greatness. Purbida! Unya kun toa sa range rak-rak kaayo mag pabuto sa ila 50 to 100 rounds, unya diay puro miss. Maayo lang sa pasikat?

I hate to mention these but its true.

I hope with the leadership of Arlan, i expect to see a more dynamic and disciplined members of BGC. Remember guys, di lang BGC ang inyo gidala, you also have the PPSA, the whole practical shooting community in your shoulders.

About the information of indiscriminate firing in San Juan, I have witnessed a son of a former member of BGCI whose firearm is licensed to his father. They are living in San Juan Village. He fired several times without the presence of his father, I just don't know if his father knew that his gun was used by his son hehehe! Also his companion is not a license gun holder. tsk tsk tsk both of them are not BGCI members. I was able to go there because my parents owned a lot near San Juan and I was with our "tupad" planting the vacant lot. When I heard multiple shots near our lot, I immediately went to the vicinity and I was surprised that 4 people were having a shooting session without permits to shoot tsk tsk tsk.
In fairness to the BGCI RO members, there was no RO firing in San Juan during that time.

With regards to the pending case of the wanna be members of BGCI, under the rules of incorporation, for as long as there is no final judgment of the case (Supreme Court), any person is allowed to join the club.

Tino--od gyud na nga some are boasting about their membership and bragging that they are members of BGCI and doesnt even know the 4 basic safety rules hehehe!

Hambog kaayo 'nya dili di-ay to makamao. Unsaon man nga after paying the membership fee, dili naman magpakita didto sa range. Ambot ba unsay ilang bo-ot ipasabot sa pagka "member"!
