Compaq vs.Acer?

For a laptop, which brand which brand between Acer and Compaq has better quality? Let's say if both is at the same price and has exactly same configuration, just different in the brand, which would you go for? THANKS

If both have the same specs i suggest you ask what are the perks that they will dangle with the laptop, ie., warranty, giveaways, etc..
And like jamlz, i recommend Toshiba and HP..
