In trusting there is no greater example than Jesus Christ.

Jesus is, was, and always has been God. When He was in this world, He was God. We all know that. But even though He was God, He chose not to live out of His deity, but to live out of His humanity. Jesus has always been God. But according to Philippians 2:, "v6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: v7But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men." He emptied Himself of divine prerogatives and lived as man.

He laid aside the rights of being equal to God and at every moment, while on earth, lived out of His humanity. Although He is the Son of God, He mostly referred Himself as the Son of Man. He lived in this world as a man who depended entirely on God.

Jesus could have done no miracles of His own. He was trusting God who lived in Him.John 5:19 says, "Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise." Therefore nothing He did originated from Himself. Everything He did was the life of God pouring out of Him.

That's the reason why miracle after miracles had happened. Healing after healing had been done not by Jesus but by the Father who was working through Him. Jesus trusted God to live in Him and work through Him. Therefore Let us trust Jesus to live in us and work through us.

If we understand that it is not us anymore who live but Him then He said; "rivers of living water shall flow out of our innermost being" (John 7:38). You don't have to pump it up. It will come flowing out when you trust Jesus as your very life.

Enjoy this truth! When you abide in Christ, you will see the supernatural works of God through love, mercy, compassion, will come pouring out of you.
