24-year-old Shamcey Supsup was crowned Bb. Pilipinas Ms. Universe 2011 at the Binibining Pilipinas pageant held last night, April 10, at the Araneta Coliseum.

She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of the Philippines-Diliman and topped the June 2010 Architect Licensure Examination with a grade of 86.60 percent. She stands 5’7″ and her hometown is General Santos City. In the question and answer portion, she was asked, “What worthy cause do you identify yourself with and why?” She answered, “I think the one worthy cause I can identify myself with is valuing education. Because I believe education is something that cannot be taken away from you. You can have money, you can have fame, but in the end, it can be taken from you. But education will always be there to help you.”
