The Cathedral School of La Naval, the first private-sectarian institution in the whole of Biliran, has earned its reputation of producing fine sets of students ever since it was founded in the year 1990 by Msgr. Filomeno G. Bactol, D.D., Bishop of Naval in the year 1990- present.

Its aim is to give a Christian Education to the Navalenos, Over the years, it grew up into a community. Bringing the CSN to the community has changed the perception that CSN is only for the elite; it has proven its worth and has become a pillar of excellence.
