LET'S PROTECT OUR ENVIRONMENT. Photo above shows Mayor Susan Parilla of Naval, the capital town of Biliran province delivering her message during the short program held at Banderahan beach in Brgy. Caraycaray, Naval after the Alay Lakad 2011 on Sunday initiated by the local government unit (LGU)-Naval in coordination with the Biliran provincial government led by Gov. Gerryboy Espina. The lady mayor urged the participants and the Navaleños in general to protect and preserve the area in Banderahan beach for the next generation. The Alay Lakad participants planted some 1,200 mangrove seedlings in Banderahan beach area to preserve the beauty of the environment which is one of the finest beaches in the province of Biliran.
