LGU Caibiran sets construction of new commercial building

Naval, Biliran (12 August) — Dry goods store owners who are doing business within the commercial center of the municipality of Caibiran in the province of Biliran will soon enjoy a more comfortable and presentable store spaces when the commercial building which the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Caibiran has started construction during the later part of July will be completed.

This was revealed by Mayor Maderazo in an interview with the Philippine Information Agency in Biliran Province.

According to Mayor Maderazo, the project cost of the commercial building totaled to some P11 million pesos.

He added that the timetable for the completion of the project is 180 calendar days; however, he is very optimistic that the construction work will be done even before the timetable ends.

Furthermore, he said that the new commercial building is a long time dream of the municipal government of Caibiran to provide a decent and a more comfortable shopping not only for the residents and consumers of Caibiran but also to consumers in the neighboring municipalities who may visit the place to do their shopping.

Said project, Mayor Maderazo added, is just one of the many infrastructure projects lined-up by LGU-Caibiran geared towards the development of Caibiran and its people.

The construction of the commercial building in said municipality is in line with the 10-point legacy agenda of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. (PIA-Biliran)
