The BiliranIsland.com, Inc. and Staff has decided to have a Christmas Contest here in Naval for a more meaningful Christmas celebration this coming December of this year. These days, people seldom display Christmas decorations for the reason that there is an economic crisis. But when did our country in the last 20plus years not been in economic crisis and yet we still find people enjoying so much that life has to offer, except such wonderful tradition as the observance of the Christmas spirit manifested in symbols such as lanterns, christmas lights and others.

It is for this that the Biliranisland.com perceived of this plan to hold a Christmas symbol contest specifically to bring back the spirit of Christmas long clouded by the idea that we have all become impoverished. (Maybe true to some but fortunately not to many.) It is believed that this activity will help bring back the True Spirit of Christmas and make us all realize that the true joy is in giving and sharing.

The Category of the contest are the following:

1. Most Lighted and Decorated Street
2. Parol Making Contest
3. Most Creative Belen

Special Awards:
Most Lanterned/Lighted House

These activities can be participated in by different barangays and zones within the Town of Naval only.

In line with the said activities, we are humbly requesting again from your good heart to help us realize this endeavor. We are in need of your donations (big or small).

Our sponsors will be fully and properly acknowledged in the programs of Radyo Natin 103.9 FM in Biliran and billboards/signages.
