By and large, people has different opinion, position and interpretation. I would rather says that in the arena of politics,
once an attitude of being envy rules in the heart, I can define
that person that he/she is heading out of the way. I would like
to stress out, that in this world we are living, is absolutely full of hypocrisy, pretending to be someone, dignified in appearance but deep down inside is hatred and arrogance.
To point out my comments, we can not judge a person thru his looks but his performance. I still in favor of those who lead our
Island into the pedestal of reknown. I do not see any logic why
should I take to the position of lambasting anybody else infact
the person in the other side had done the same thing, CORRUPT!!!!
Be wise my friends, there is no perfect governance yet, do not
follow after the MOB. Mob rules destroy the innocent. We have
learned in the past. Marcos was dethroned by MOB and yet our
nation is getting worse and worse. KNOW who are these MOB

I agree what you said but I don’t understand why we have to judge the bloggers’ opinions in here. It is their innate rights and priviledge to so do.. They have reasons why they do blog that way and it is against my will to stop them from doing so.

We also cannot accuse both our politicians as corrupt unless of course we have evidence to back up our claims…. I don’t wanna accuse Cong. as corrupt because not that he is new in the service.. I have not heard and records show that de did not amass lots of millions out of people’s money compared to the other side whose wealth are questionable…. Have you personally know Cong. I beg to dis-agree with you…. you call our priests as mob instigators?????? I know whose side you’re in and I respect you for that but accusing our priests as mob leaders and provocators are so uncalled for. As educated as we are we know who give us the right direction.. we know that these noble people are the ones who remind us what is moral what is ethical and what is the truth beyond the fallasies and lies that dirty politicians are doing to manipulate us from the bondage of trashy politics…. Rep. Glenn you’re the man in biliran. I hope you check the projects of Gov. Roger because i have received reliable reports that the projects were so substandard, especially the farm to market roads. My source said, after a little over 2 months from turn-over, the road pavement were seen to have cracks and gravel were surfacing from the paved road surface. Please check and file charges in the ombudsman, if possible. I will be coming home in time for the 2010 elections to support the candidates whom I perceived doing good deeds for Biliran.

Dear Atty Glenn,

I am not a lumad of Naval but have been a resident of this municipality for almost 15yrs now. All this years I was fully aware of the political developments in the province. When Espina Sr. became our 1st congressman there was so much hope that he will be able to deliver project for Biliran because of his vast experience. But one of his 1st project was his mansion in caray-caray. It started with just 1 Espina in public service and slowly almost all his children run for office and eventually won not because they were the best but because they have the resources. When they were sworn in, they used public funds as if it was their own private fund. I will not mention then be cause thet are so many, I lost count of it.
Biliran was used to be peaceful then, politics was not as dirty as it is today. People can still chose their candidates for public office without so much resorting to massive vote buying and coersion. I have seen how the Espinas literally eroded our political system, the massive vote buying, the use of goons, though started in Jaro’s time was perfected by the Sr., patronage politics was introduce in Biliran politics. This is their greatest legacy in Biliran. The last election was an eye opener for me, the large scale corruption perpetuated by the Espina clan are very disgusting. I had high hopes with the Governor then, because he is a doctor. I thought he was the likes of Dr. John Pastor, Redoblado, Colasito, Granados ect, the old gaurds who for so many years were doctor in the province of Biliran but never amass o much wealth in a matter of 6-7 yrs at the expense of the people. He is a disgrace to the medical profession, his unexplained wealth (Biliran Garden) will be an envy of many doctors in the province. I pity this province, so beautiful, so rich in natural resources, but because of the greed of this clan so much was wasted.
But all this are slowly changing. The last election proved that change can be achieved if we have the right candidates and the people support these candidates. I have been following the developemnts in our province and I am really happy the something is happening. Thank you Congressman for living up to your promises and initiating these changes. The vast majority of Biliranons are not blind and deaf. They know how to appreciate good leaders when they see one. I admire your tenacity in public service, your creativity to bring public service to the heart of the people. I salute you, please believe that there are many of us out here that admire your courage. Do not let the evil conquer good but the GOOD should conquer EVIL. To our church leaders, I know that you have been in the recieving end of the Espina wrath. I salute you also, I admire our church’s leaders who work for social and spiritual reforms. Do not mind what the corrupt politicians and their suppoters are saying against the church. Pls continue your campaign for good governance and support honest politicians. Never mind the Espina’s, because they are not, can not and will not be honest.
To the bloggers in this website, let us continue our quest for freedom. Freedom from corrupt politicians, unfortunately the Espina clan is the embodiment of this corruption. I love to listen to arguments in which two protagonists are exchanging different views on a particular topic that they highlight in their discussion.

Somehow there is this blogger who is lost somewhere and he doesn’t know who is opponents are. He keeps on sending messages at a wrong address.

How can this someone make his points stressed and addressed with in a proper venue when he is addressing at a wrong crowd.
