As for my choice for Biliran Governorship…….ANY BODY BUT GERRY BOY ESPINA. For me it takes a discerning citizen to choose those whose motives are noble…. that is to be of service to Biliranon’s from all walks of live. A public servant not making the public servants. It is as simple as that.

My governor possesses a multitude of character who can deeply inspire us and whose intellectual and political capability is combine with agile and talent to serve us better and to guide us to economic, socio-moral recovery.

He or she should instigate transparency, fairness and efficiency on his or her job.

He or she should embody the best of Biliranon character.

He or she shoul not endulge in artificial illumination in fostering idleness, self dealing and insularity and self deception just ot get what he or she wants. And best of all he or she must be nobody’s puppet.

A prudent person should he or she be not to entertain mockery, depotism nd avoid creating a council of insanity hardliners whose duty is to keep an eye and create ears to silence those who opposses his or her decisions thus creating a powerful and corrupt politician out of him or her.

Bearing a multitude of noble character his intellectual and political capabilites will do great and make our province move forward…As a motivator of idealism and realism he or she is the answer tocollective biliranons’ dream to have a transparent respectful and caring public official, prospectively speaking.

I am referring to Miss Susan or Mr. Charlie Chong for this position…Good luck to you both.

My dearest Biliranons, vote wisely, vote RAFFY SALAZAR for GOVERNOR!

In history, the Espinas were effective as leaders until they were able to build their dynasty. I think that history has already proven us that consolidation of power in one clan is very unhealthy as it may be prone to anomalies. It is for this reason why we should stop the emergence of a new hegemony. Assuming but not conceding that some of its cohorts are effective in their current positions, question comes, will their effectiveness be sustainable when their dynasty is already established? Moreover, conceding that other politicians have experience in the political arena, we also need to asses the kind of experience it has encountered or fostered. Experience in the political arena is vague if you argue that it should be one of the criteria. It may be linked to other pejorative acts like fraud, corruption and the likes, which at the end of the day doe not solve any problem.

We need to go for alternative politics. A platform based politics. Not politics based on popularity, vague experiences and more importantly, a politics motivated by external motives.

In my own personal opinion, I’d go with Dir. Raffy Salazar. He’s always been empathic with the youth and unfortunates. He may be unpopular, but it is for that reason why he is unique. Charitable works should indeed be private and is not something to brag. We need a leader who is fresh from negative externalities.

I still go with COng. Chong;s father…
He got what it takes to make Biliran move forward.
There tamdem will make that dream a reality..
Politics is politics but a person with a word of honor for me is the MAN OF THE HOUR… Ang bunga nga maayo maayo sad ang puno nga nagpadako niya..
I will not settle for anything less.. i surely vote to somebody who did make good of his promise… His promise though unfinished as of this time will not make me not patronize and support him.. I know that he will keep it as i expect him to do it.
It will take a lot of time for a new hero to emerge from the political scenario of Biliran.
I will go to the time tested prime mover of Biliranon’s economic, social and political upliftment…

Mayroon ba? Pare-pareho sila lahat.MANA MANA LANG IYAN.. Draw your own conclusion as i did mine..

I think the gist was clear. More importantly, I do not want to name names. And just a shot comment, I think It is fallacious to argue the puno and bunga argument in politics. Because, there is already an assumption that the lineage is chaste and pure. Exactly, why we have the emergence of oppresive dynasties, because we always have a puno and bunga assumption. Believe me, history will prove that it does not follow. Analyze the dynasties of local and national elites. Puno and bunga argument is not always applicable. Case in point, Jesse Robredo of Naga City, he came from a family of trapos. But emerged differently, and was awarded as an outstanding mayor. It automatically disproves your claims.
