Naval town steps up preparations for 150th religious fiesta celebration

Naval, Biliran (September 12) – Preparations are now in high gear as the municipality of Naval in the province of Biliran moves towards the celebration of its 150th religious fiesta on October 1 and 2 this year.

According to Marilou Bernardes Lucente, SB member of Naval who is also this year’s chairman of the Naval Fiesta Executive Committee 2010, the fiesta activities are made simple but meaningful for every Navaleno to enjoy.

During the meeting of the Naval Fiesta Execom 2010 the other day at the Naval Municipal Session Hall and attended by the officials and members of the fiesta execom , chairmen of the different working committees, SB Lucente bared the schedule of activities of the Naval Town Fiesta 2010 as follows:

SB Lucente said that there might be activities that will be added to the schedule as one of the highlights of the celebration depending on the suggestions of some groups and officers and members of the fiesta execom.

As the celebration draws near, the Navalenos as usual are expecting visitors to come and join in the celebration especially those Navalenos who are now residing in different parts of the world. (PIA-Biliran)
