Reporter: Miriam Victorioso Coldwell, legal age, presently residing at Castin St. Naval, Biliran
Occurrence: OOA 2:20 am of August 10, 2011 at TJ Lodge, P. Inocentes
Witness: Grace Villallino y Lingo, 18 years old (DOB) July 10, 1992, Brgy. 89 San Jose, Tacloban
Respondent: Harold Caneja Ang, legal age, single, resident of Castin St., Naval, Biliran
Victim: Momar Santos Guevarra, 22 years old, single, student, resident of Castin St., Naval, Biliran

Narration of Facts:

Reporter together with the witness appeared before this office to put into record that witness personally saw the commission of the crime of shooting incident identifying the victim and respondent. That witness averred that while they were inside of a room and particular in TJ Lodge room # 14, one respondent suddenly came and knock to their door and ask permission to the duo to enter their room.

That duo allowed their respondent to enter their room the two male persons (victim of respondent) started to have heated argument and without any apparent reason respondent draw his firearm and shoot the victim on his left shoulder.

    while it is good that you have called upon our peace officers to place the lodge and the surrounding area under police surveillance, you have also attached malicious accusations that the owners, the tan-pastor family, may be behind and/or condones the proliferation of illegal drugs sale and use in the area.

    if you have proof of these accusations, will you please come forward and tell our police officers about what you know so that this could be stopped?

    if, as i suspect, you are just hurtling accusations in the hope of attaching mud on the to the tan-pastor family i suggest you do it somewhere else because nobody would believe you here.

    we have known the family for a long time enough to have also watched the children brought up morally upright and circumspect in their dealings with other people. as far as we know, not one among them have ever been involved in sinister and immoral acts as you would have us believe.

    we also wont forget how a greedy family once stripped them of a thriving, profitable business.

  12. our deepest condolence and sympathy to the family of the victim. let us watch this case closely so that justice be served. the respondent is allegedly a drug victim so as his older brother who was jailed for more than 2 years because for a drug-related case but was released lately which to me personally is surprising.

    our local offcials esp the Mayor thru our police must intensify anti-illegal drug campaign. reportedly the respondent is under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

    tj lodge must be investigated for this incident. how can an outsider intrude into a clients room at that time, 2 in the morning already. security measures of establishments like this must be reviewed and a policy must be set to avoid similar situations to happen in the future.

    I totally agree with you about the good character of xxxxxxxx family. It is a public knowledge…
    But I think the suggestion here is not to malign the owner of xxxx,
    it is rectify of what’s the undesirable activities of the guests of that lodging house where the owner has also their own share big responsibility to take care of.
    Like about two years ago, there was a phone pornographic video clip of xxxScandal” that was being pass on to phone users.
    This establishment has gradually known now of these “undesirable” acts. The worst is that, it is tagged now as “Tagbaw-Jerjer” lodge or “short time” lodge!
    So to protect the integrity of the owners especially that xxxxx is an incumbent town councilor, they must also protect the welfare of the public.

    Now tell us why Mayor Susan should be just a sitting duck on of the recent happening in the town she is serving….
