NAVAL, Biliran – The Civil Service Commission (CSC), Biliran Field Office is preparing to celebrate the Civil Service Month in September, this year.
As part of the preparations for the forthcoming event, Michael dela Cruz, Director II of CSC-Biliran informed in a communication sent to PIA that his office in coordination with the Biliran Council of Personnel Officers, Incorporated (BPCPOI) conducted a one-day special joint conference.
The gathering was held at the CSC, Biliran Field Office located at the provincial capitol compound in Barangay Calumpang in the municipality of Naval and was attended by the members of the BPCPOI from the local government units (LGUs) of the eight municipalities of Biliran province and the national government agencies based in Naval, the capital town of Biliran.
He said, during the gathering of BPCPOI, the participants made proposals of various activities of the council to highlight the participation of the LGUs and the national agencies they represent in the celebration of the Civil Service Month this coming September, 2011.
According to one of the participants in the special joint conference that was conducted recently and who requested not to be named, one of the activities lined-up for the celebration is a radio guesting through the President of the BPCPOI to the Kapihan sa PIA at Pulong-pulong ng Bayan live over Radyo Natin-Naval for important announcements from the CSC-Biliran that need to be disseminated to the government employees and to the public in general.
During the conference, he said, the election of officers of the CSC-Bilis Aksyon Partners (BAP) in Biliran was also conducted.
It is the objective of the officers of the CSC-BAP in Biliran to provide an effective and efficient service to the public they serve. (FEJ/PIA 8 Biliran)
