NAVAL, Biliran – The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) – Biliran District Engineering Office (BDEO) has already reached 93.95% completion in the implementation of infrastructure projects for 2012 in the province of Biliran.

This was revealed by Engr. David Adongay, Jr. District Engineer of DPWH-BDEO during the Kapihan forum live over Radyo Nation-Naval.

He said, one of the major accomplishments of DPWH-BDEO is the continuous pavement of the Biliran circumferential road wherein only 3.9 kilometers remained unpaved as of now of the entire 152 kilometers length of the road.

He informed that the remaining unpaved portion of the Biliran circumferential road will be completed this year.

Meanwhile, Engr. Adongay informed that the priority project of DPWH-DBEO in 2014 is the development and widening of the national roads around the province of Biliran considering that these roads are narrow and have to be improved and widened to give way to more developments that will take place in the province in the coming years.

The improvement of the national roads in the province of Biliran will be implemented until the year 2016. (PIA 8 Biliran)
