Payvenue Corporation and Biliran ElectricCooperative formally signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on October 4, 2013 enabling the later to make use of the company’s 800 remittance partner outlets (HLhuillier, Prime Asia & Gemmary Pawnshop) for its Nationwide Online B2B Collections via Remitbox. With this agreement, member-consumers of BILECO can now effect payment of their monthly power bills to Remitbox partner outlets all over the country. The Electric Cooperative’s consumers can also transact bills payment even beyond office hours, weekends and even holidays giving them more ease and flexibility in settling their monthly obligations with their coop. With the use of cutting-edge cloud computing system, BILECO’s Electronic Billing System (EBS) has been seamlessly integrated into Remitbox’s Remittance Platform thus, bills payment transactions made in any Remitbox partner outlets are automatically posted in the ECs billing and accounting system in real time. Present in the MOA signing are BILECO Board President Engr. Leonardo V. Madeja Jr., BILECO GM-CEO Marlon B. Roa, Payvenue COO Mr. Michael G. Relativo and Payvenue Software Development Consultant Mr. Samuel G. Trinidad Jr. The simple ceremony was also witnessed by other members of the BILECO Board and management team.
