02 December 2013: SMART network service in Almeria, Biliran has been restored.

22 November 2013: SMART network service in Cabucgayan, Biliran has been restored. Handsets need to be turned off and on to refresh the signal. Thank you.

17th November 2013: While restoration of some facilities in Biliran have already commenced, we are still undergoing network restoration in other areas heavily affected by Typhoon Yolanda. Kindly keep posted for network updates. Thank you.

15th November 2013: @biliranisland Our services have already been restored in Cabucgayan, Caibaran and Culaba in Biliran Island. Please refresh your cellphone by turning it off and on to ensure service. Thank you.

Update from Globe:

12:50 pm 11/23/2013 Globe Telecom cellular phone signal in Caibiran was restored back at 10:00 am. of November 23, 2013.

11:23 am 11/23/2013 Globe Telecom cellular phone signal in Almeria and Kawayan was restored back at 2:00 p.m. of November 22, 2013.

12:28 pm 11/22/2013 BREAKING: GLOBE network service in Naval, Biliran has been restored.

Globe also said it is looking to bring back services in Borongan, Eastern Samar and Biliran province within the next 24 hours.

  6. To all queues, there is zero casualty with the Super Typhoon Yolanda at Municipality of Kawayan, Biliran. All barangays confirmed it though many houses were wrecked especially along seaside areas. Concerned now is the food shortage.
