The family, friends and fellow warriors of light attended the funeral service of the fallen brother, the late Noel Manguing, on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 in Bool, Culaba, Biliran.

During the ceremony, some distinguished personalities from electric cooperatives in Region 8 delivered a speech honoring Manguing for his valuable contribution in the industry he had worked with for more than 20 years.
GM Juanito Jorda of Leyeco 5 who spoke in behalf of the Task Force Kapatid whom the late Manguing was one of the contingents was deeply moved especially seeing the predicaments of the family left by Manguing. He admired Manguing’s courage and character as he braved the challenge of Administrator Edita S. Bueno of NEA to energize the entire coverage of Leyeco 5 before the end of March 2014.

The Board President of Leyeco 4, Dir. Lito Subaan, had the same impression on Manguing as the latter exhibited heroism. He said Manguing was an inspiration to all his fellow linemen and to all employees.
Dir. Leonardo V. Madeja, the Board President of BILECO, also expressed his lament over the loss of a brother. He admired him for being instrumental in the success of the rehabilitation not only of BILECO but also of neighboring Coop. He as well extended his prayers to the family.

Roa, in behalf of the members of FRECOR 8 and the BILECO family, gave his final tribute which started with a video presentation showing clips which commemorates Manguing’s life and service in BILECO. In his message, GM Roa was very thankful and grateful of Manguing’s dedication and love towards work as shown in his years of service which he said worth emulating. He was deeply emotional while reliving the memories shared together with him adding that his life was never put in vain.
