TRAVEL NIGHTMARE. I do not know how the government will handle the heavy vehicle traffic to Tacloban for the visit of Pope Francis 12 days from now, after strategic bridges along national highways north (Dapdap Bridge in Alangalang and Hiagsam Bridge in Jaro) and south (Daguitan Bridge near Dulag) of Leyte had been disabled by floods brought about by Typhoon Seniang last week. Can the alternative routes cope with this situation?
