NAVAL, Biliran – Richard Sabonsolin, known to his peers as “Bakid” was arrested on Wednesday, January 20, at around 2:00 o’clock in the morning in a checkpoint.
Bakid was arrested by members of Naval police station in a checkpoint placed in Castin Street in this town.
As he was flag down by Naval police in said checkpoint, seized and recovered from huh were the following items: three pieces of small heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu; five pieces empty plastic sachets; one unit mobile phone; one unit motorcycle; and several drug paraphernalia.
This is the second arrest of Bakid, who is in the watch list of drug personalities of Naval police station.
Another person was also arrested by members of Almeria police station in possession of illegal drugs on that same day, Wednesday, January 20.
The person arrested by Almeria police was Melchor Quinto, alias “Erot”, a resident if Barangay Sto. Niño, Naval, Biliran.
WE should stop the apathy that is creeping in our doors…if WE care for this TOWN…if WE care the NAVAL that WE have known…if WE are to protect the future of our children then WE should start showing our collective outrage to the proliferation of illegal drugs in the town that WE love so much…BWESIT MONG DAGKO MGA PARA BALIGYA UG DRUGS!
