Another sked for power interruption in Biliran

Update: NCGP postponed the sked for 10 hr interruption on March 20 to April 3, 2016, Sunday. March 20 is Palm Sunday and there are many church activities that require power.

NAVAL, BILIRAN – All areas covered by Biliran Electric Cooperative, Inc. (BILECO) will have a maximum of ten-hour power outrage on March 20, 2016, Sunday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM due to ongoing repairs and maintenance by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) for the improvement of service.

Last March 11, 2016, all areas coverage of BILECO, LEYECO III, DORELCO and LEYECO V had an unexpected power interruption due to tripping of 69kV Tunga Feeder at 6:53PM today fault caused by cut jumper on a structure at San Joaquin, Capoocan.

Earlier this morning power supply was also cut off from 2:15AM to 3:00AM. The NGCP has yet to issue official statement with regard to the latest blackout.
