BLISS, Calumpang, Naval, Biliran – A village chief of one of 132 barangays in Biliran Province was arrested in a joint provincial and municipal police buy-bust operation on Thursday morning.
Arrested was Barangay Captain Emerito Arpon, Jr. of Barangay Virginia, Culaba, Biliran.
Arpon was arrested in Bliss, Calumpang, Naval, Biliran at around 11:00 a.m., October 27.
Seized from Arpon, known also as Mokong, were 3 sachets of suspected shabu placed in Tictac plastic container, and 2 pcs 500 peso bills.
Arpon was considered a high value target by police authorities. – BiliranIsland.com
