CABUCGAYAN, Biliran – Cabucgayan unveiled last January 8, 2017 the new and improved boardwalk erected in the 18- hectare Mangrove Gardening Project at Sitio Naga, Rawis Villa Corro of Brgy. Looc, Cabucgayan, Biliran. The Local Government Unit under the leadership of Mayor Edwin Masbang is inviting everyone to support and be part of the floating boardwalk experience. The Mangrove habitat has a nearby mudcrab production. The project Boardwalk has a restaurant, cottages for rent and boating services for people to enjoy the picturesque view.

The Provincial Government of Biliran with the rise of the ecotourism industry is bringing our natural attractions closer to the public through supporting the local industry and road/ facilities improvement. The project Boardwalk which focuses on environmental protection, eco-tourism and poverty reduction in Cabucgayan, Biliran was envisioned by former Mayor Arnelito S. Garing and Congressman Rogelio J. Espina after a Lakbay Aral conducted at Maribojoc, Bohol in December 2, 2005.
