CATMON, Naval, Biliran – Philippine aviation company AIR JUAN has launched the fastest link to Biliran.
Air Juan operates its nine-seater Grand Caravan EX between Mactan Cebu International Airport and Biliran Airport in Catmon, Biliran. The airline connects tourists and businesses alike with a quick, 45-minute chartered flight.
Air Juan made its maiden commercial flight from Cebu to Biliran today, June 21, 2017. The first commercial flights to Biliran were made over a period of three months 40 years ago, by PATI Islander small planes, when the Biliran Airport in Brgy. Catmon, Naval had just been constructed.

Harvey J. Paa from Cabucgayan is the first passenger of the Air Juan maiden flight to Biliran.
Mariflor Zimmerman and Ron Zimmerman were the two passengers of Air Juan’s first return flight to Cebu from Biliran. Departed at 2:30 PM.
This development is expected too boost the tourism industry in Biliran.
The Biliran Airport has a building for waiting area.
The Biliran Airport was built 7 kms away from Naval poblacion. Constructed in the 1970s as an adjunct of the Busali Ranch, believed to have been acquired by the Marcos Dynasty.
