Update. The runaway driver was identified as Rodel Monden, staff of the D4th.

Update. As of now, the identity of the “Runaway Driver” of a  ZX-Z100 Swish Rusi motorcycle remains unknown. According to the Police, he quickly sped towards Naval poblacion, without lights, and overtook the other motorcycle, and collided with it.

Naval, Biliran –  Two riders were seriously injured when a pair of motorcycles collided around 6.00 in the evening in Brgy. Calumpang, Naval, Biliran.

The injured driver was identified as Ramar Edison, 31 years old, from Sto. Niño Naval, who drove the color black suzuki GD 110 motorcycle bearing plate number HA 32866.

One driver involved in the collision quickly escaped, while the other driver was brought to the Biliran Provincial hospital. 

PNP Naval is conducting hot pursuit operation for the escaped driver of a Rusi black motorcycle with no plate number.

The authorities are still identifying the names of the victim and of the runaway driver.
