EFFECTIVE JANUARY 11,2018 @ 8:00 O’CLOCK IN THE MORNING, CARAYCARAY BRIDGE WILL BE OPENED TO 4-WHEEL TYPE LIGHT VEHICLES ONLY.
THE TRAVELING PUBLIC, ESPECIALLY THE DRIVERS, TRICYCLES AND MOTORCYCLES RIDERS, IS ADVISED TO EXTRA CAREFUL WHEN CROSSING THE BRIDGE AND TO FOLLOW THE TRAFFIC RULES AND REGULATIONS SET BY THE DPWH DISTRICT OFFICE. OUR PRIORITY IS YOUR SAFETY.

January 06, 2018 11 AM. Motorcycles can now pass through the repaired Caraycaray Bridge. Not yet for four-wheeled vehicles.
As of 6 am today (January 3, 2018), here under is the situational report (after TD Agaton) of our national highways :
1. Alternate road (Naval- Almeria-Kawayan-Culaba- Caibiran- Cabucgayan-Biliran-Leyte Road -Passable to traffic;
2. BILIRAN-CATMON-BRGY CARAYCARAY SECTION, BCR -PASSABLE to traffic;
3. Naval-Cabadiangan-Brgy Canceso, NCCR – Passable to traffic;
4. Caibiran-So. Macalpe, Brgy Canceso, NCCR – passable to traffic.
More or less 100 meters of road area section between Brgy Canceso to So. Macalpe, NCCR is not passable to traffic. This section was heavily damaged by continuous heavy rains, at the height of Typhoon Urduja due to rock slides/landslides and soil erosion resulting into cut off road hence not passable to pedestrians.
