PDEA declares Almeria drug-free town

ALMERIA, Biliran – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) has declared Almeria as drug-free.

The 13 barangays of Almeria were declared today, March 5, 2018, as drug-free barangays.

At present, Almeria is the third drug-cleared municipality in the province, next to Caibiran and Culaba.

Mayor Richard Jaguros said he will do his best to maintain the status of Almeria town as drug-cleared.

All barangay captains of Almeria were present during the declaration.

Almeria is composed of 13 barangays – Caucab, Iyusan, Jamorawon, Lo-ok, Matango, Pili, Poblacion, Pulang Bato, Salangi, Sampao, Tabunan, Talahid, and Tamarindo.
