Rotary villages for Urduja victims turned over in Biliran

ALMERIA, Biliran – The Rotary Village Project formally turned over the 21 housing units in Sangalang, Biliran and 29 housing units in Sitio Ilijan, Almeria to the fifty recipient families on August 21, 2018.

The awarding of the housing units to the recipients was made possible through the partnership of the Rotary Club of Biliran Island and Shelterbox and with donations from other Rotary Districts to the identified LGUs.

Rotarian PDDG Archie Francisco F. Gamboa of the PNP attended the turn over ceremonies in both places together with other dignitaries who graced the occasion.

The Rotary Village Project housing units in Sitio Ilijan, Almeria, Biliran will be connected to electricity within the next seven days.
