Cebu alumnus tops ME board exam
Lester Corpin Tolledo of CIT-U was followed by Hutch Niño Valles of Bulacan State University, Reginald Luther Orbiso Sinay also of CIT-U, Caryl Patrick Evangelista River of the University of Santo Tomas and Ronnel Quejada Dellomes, likewise of BSU in Malolos.

NAVAL, Biliran – Engineer Lester Corpin Toledo bagged the 1st spot in the Mechanical Engineering Licensure Examination last August 2019.

As a kid, he was already fond of Math. He also shared that his older brother, an engineer, and his father, a teacher, shared their knowledge with numbers. That is why he aspired to become an engineer.

Lester credited his success to his review center, to his professors, and  to his family, especially his mother, who served as his inspiration.

Lester said he wasn’t expecting to be in the Top Ten. The exam was hard, particularly in the last part.

Lester is from San Isidro, Biliran. He graduated with the highest honors from both elementary and high school levels.

He was educated at Cebu Institute of Technology ( CIT-U) and graduated Summa Cum Laude. He was also one of The Top Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines.

Aside from his many distinctions in both academic and extra curricular activities, he was also voted as the King of Engineers before graduating from CIT- U.

He is still overwhelmed by the results. He is also excited to work along his chosen career.
