Cabucgayan, Biliran — A female drug surrenderee will now feel the coldness of a concrete floor after she was arrested by agents of PDEA and the combined forces from the Biliran Province Police Office (BPPO) about 3:15 in the afternoon today Sunday (Aug. 30) in Brgy. Looc here.

The suspect was identified as Krystal Gillette Amistoso, 24, single, tagged by PDEA and police as a High Value Target and on Priority Target List and a resident of Brgy. Langgao, Cabucgayan, Biliran.

Recovered from her possession were two sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu procured by an agent for P1,000. A body search conducted by a female PDEA agent yield no illegal items from her body.

However, at a fallen electric post where the negotiation was held, an operative from the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit recovered one piece P1,000 bill bearing serial number YH903211, a marked money used in the operation and another sachet containing the same white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing more or less 1 gram with an estimated street value of P6,800.

The suspect denied owning the illegal items recovered from her, saying she stopped the vice after surrendering Oplan Tokhang in 2016.

Charges of violation of Sec 5 (selling illegal drugs) and Sec 11 (possession of illegal drugs) of Art II of RA 9165, the Comprehensive Law against Illegal Drugs of 2002 is being readied by PDEA against the female suspect, who is temporarily detained at the Cabucgayan Municipal Police. –
