Naval, Biliran – The Department of Public Works and Highways- Biliran District Engineering Office (BDEO) has started the construction of its new standard office building located at the government center in Brgy. Larrazabal, in Naval town.

District Engineer (DE) Ferdinand A. Briones conducts inspection of the said project together with Engr. Luisito Filemon A. Abad, Chief of Construction Section and his team on May 17, 2022.

According to DE Briones, the project is now on its early stage of implementation with on-going excavation works for its foundation.

P40-M budget has been allocated for the construction of this standard office building under contract with Aqualine Construction and R8 Asphalt Plant and Construction Inc.

“An area of 1,050 sq.m. two-storey building will rise in this area that will provide enough space to house our employees and our materials testing apparatus.” said DE Briones.

“Although there is slight delay in the implementation of the project due to unfavorable weather, the contractor commits to fast track the project implementation,” revealed DE Briones.

This building is scheduled to be completed by September 08, 2022.
