NGCP sets 12-hour power interruption on Saturday

UPDATE: July 30 NGCP scheduled interruption cancelled

NGCP granted the request of BILECO to cancel and postpone its scheduled 12-hour power interruption to the latter’s franchise on 30 July 2022 citing the holding of its Naval District Regular Election on the same date as its reason. The approval was communicated via email to which an official communication shall follow tomorrow as their district manager is currently out of town on official travel.

Furthermore, the postponement of the said interruption for maintenance activities by the transmission provider will possibly be scheduled on 7 August 2022. The coop will post an update once an official notice has been received from NGCP.

12-hr power interruption in Biliran Province set July 30.

BILECO on Thursday advised consumers and the general public to brace for a 12-hour scheduled power interruption on July 30, 2022, Saturday, affecting BILECO area coverage.

The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) has announced that there will be a 12-hour power interruption from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 30.

NGCP will conduct replacement, armoring and reinforcement of conductors.
