NAVAL, Biliran (BDEO) – Engr. Alfredo L. Bollido is now the Officer-In-Charge (OIC)-District Engineer (DE) of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)- Biliran District Engineering Office (DEO) while Engr. Rosario B. Rosete is his OIC-Assistant District Engineer (ADE).
Engr. Bollido is formerly the Assistant District Engineer of DPWH-Biliran DEO. Meanwhile, Engr. Rosete now presently assumes the position as the OIC-ADE while holding the Chief of Planning & Design Section, in a concurrent capacity.
OIC-DE Bollido acts as District Engineer due to the leave of absence of DE Ferdinand A. Briones by virtue of Memorandum Order dated September 23, 2022.
The said designations of both personnel is effective on October 01, 2022.
During Engr. Bollido’s first staff meeting as the OIC-DE, he emphasized the challenges of being the new leader of Biliran DEO.
“I take this as an opportunity to serve even for a short period of time because I will be retiring soon. As an OIC, my term is just temporary, but I will make sure that I will deliver to the best of my abilities as the leader of this District Office,” Bollido said.
According to the OIC-DE, he will continuously be monitoring the progress of its infrastructure implementation especially those Prior Years (PY) Projects which are due for completion at the end of year 2022.
Meanwhile, DPWH-Biliran DEO personnel expressed full cooperation and support to the new heads of office.
To date, Biliran DEO maintains a total length of 174.133 km of national roads with 36 national bridges.
