NAVAL, Biliran, Nov. 28, (BDEO) – Two flagship projects in the town of Caibiran are set to be inaugurated on Friday,December 02, 2022.
Biliran Congressman Gerardo J. Espina Jr., Governor Gerard Roger M. Espina and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Caibiran under the leadership of Mayor Rhodessa Delante-Revita will inaugurate the New Municipal Building and the new Caibiran Gymnasium in Caibiran town.
The construction of the P30-M New Municipal Building and the P21.9-M Caibiran Gymnasium were realized and completed by DPWH-Biliran DEO, thru the efforts and unwavering support of Congressman Gerardo J. Espina Jr., in collaboration with LGU Caibiran.
OIC-District Engineer Alfredo L. Bollido said that the construction of the Caibiran Gymnasium was implemented in three phases.
Phase I and phase II of the said project involves the construction of the structural building and the installation of roofing, respectively, while phase III involves the installation of maple flooring, ceiling works, electrical system, centralized air condition system, automatic fire sprinkler system, movable and collapsible basketball goal system, LED electronic scoreboard and the construction of the canopy.
Meanwhile, the new municipal building with a total floor area of 3,259.75 sq.m was implemented under clustered contract with the Multi-Purpose Building (MPB), (Legislative Building), Phase II at Brgy. Palengke, Caibiran, Biliran and the Construction of MPB (Legislative Building) at Pob. Kawayan, Biliran.
According to Mayor Delante, the blessing and inauguration will be held during the Caibiran’s “Pagsaurog” celebration.
Pagsaurog is a day of joyful celebration and gratitude for the wondrous fulfillment in realizing the hopes and dreams of a more vibrant and revitalized Caibiran.
