DPWH Biliran
NAVAL, Biliran (BDEO) – The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)- Biliran District Engineering Office (DEO) has achieved 80.28% accomplishment of its 2022 project implementation as of November 30, 2022.
The district office is currently implementing a total of 120 projects for this year with a total amount P2.7-billion under 2022 General Appropriations Act (GAA).

OIC-District Engineer (DE) Alfredo L. Bollido reported that of its 120 projects under its 2022 funding, 77 are now completed while 43 are still on-going.
Recently completed projects are the P37.6-M road widening at Brgy. Bool in the town of Culaba and the P23.5-M Gueron Bridge (B00054BR) widening along Naval- Caibiran Cross Country Road (NCCCR).
According to OIC-DE Bollido, the district office aims to widen the entire existing concrete roads and national bridges within the road network of Biliran Province by phases.
“The realization of this vision will be of great significance to the people of Biliran in terms of transport, commerce and employment opportunities,” said OIC-DE Bollido.
With only days away before the year 2022 ends, DPWH-Biliran DEO orders the contractors who have on-going projects to fast-track its project implementation by availing the good weather condition and rendering overtime work.
According to OIC-DE Bollido, a series of project inspections will also be regularly done by the office to ensure that projects are in accordance with the DPWH national standards.
