NAVAL, Biliran (BDEO)- Exciting prizes, talent presentations, parlor games and disco dancing sum up this year’s Christmas celebration of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)- Biliran District Engineering Office (DEO) on December 22, 2022 at DPWH-Biliran DEO open ground.
The activity started with a motivational talk on “How to be Truly Happy” with Mr. Jesus Raygon Caganon Jr. of Breakthrough Training followed by a Holy Mass presided by Most Reverend, Bishop Rex E. Ramirez, Bishop of the Diocese of Naval. Then, the program proper followed.
Different sections of Biliran DEO showed their talents in singing and dancing in their 1980’s outfit, as the theme of the said party. But the highlight of the said celebration was the conduct of the raffle draw.
Various exciting prizes were given during the raffle such as 20 packs of groceries, cash prizes that ranged from P1,000-P5,000, all sorts of home appliances, from steam iron to flat screen TV, washing machine and refrigerator.
Moreover, around 150 job order employees also receive grocery gift packs from the office.
In a Christmas Message delivered by Assistant District Engineer (ADE) Alfredo L. Bollido, he emphasized the three “T’s” to remember this Christmas Season- “Time, Talent and Treasure”.
ADE Bollido stressed out that time is the most powerful among the three because it is the best gift you can give to your loved ones. At the end of his speech, ADE Bollido shared his gratitude to Biliran DEO employees and encouraged everyone to live the moment and enjoy the party.
Indeed, it was a night to remember, a lot of memories were made and tons of prizes were equally shared to both Job Order and Permanent employees of Biliran DEO. Certainly, it was such a Merry Christmas to all!
