Naval, Biliran— Joint forces from the local police together with the Provincial Intelligence Unit of Biliran Provincial Police Office, and CIDG Biliran Field Unit arrested a laborer, about 10:30 in the morning on Wednesday, March 15, in Brgy. San Pablo of this capital town of Biliran.
The accused was identified as John Khelly Elison, 25, single, laborer and resident of Brgy. Villaconsuelo here.
The arrest of the accused came by virtue of a standing Warrant of Arrest dated March 9, 2023 issued by for violation of sec. 5 (b) of RA 7610 under Criminal Case No. N-4194 issued by Hon. Luz P Navarrete, Presiding Judge, 8th Judicial Region, RTC Branch 16, Naval, Biliran for violation of sec. 5 (b) of RA 7610 under Criminal Case No. N-4194 with a recommended bail bond for the temporary release of the accused was fixed at ₱200,000.00.
The suspect who did not elude arrest was immediately brought to the local police for proper disposition before he was turned over to the court that issued the Warrant of Arrest. He will be temporarily detained at the locked-up cell of Naval MPS before he will be transferred to the Provincial detention cell here.
