Naval, Biliran— Two sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu were recovered by PDEA agents from a newly identified drug peddler during a buy bust operation about 7:31 in the evening on Thursday, August 2, in Brgy. San Pablo, of this capital town of the Province of Biliran.
PDEA RO8 Regional Director Atty. Gil Pabilona identified the suspect as Cesar Ian Corpin Rosit, a.k.a. Ian, legal age, a resident of Sitio Lumbia, Brgy. San Roque, Biliran, Biliran. The suspect is listed as a Street Level Individual in the drug watch list of PDEA and the PNP.
Recovered from the possession of the suspect was one sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu procured by an agent in the amount of P1000. During the conduct of a body search in front of an elected Brgy. Official and representative from the National Prosecutors Services, the searching agent recovered another sachet that contains white crystalline substance also suspected as shabu. The searching agent also recovered from the possession of the suspect one pc P1000 bill bearing serial aa783741 which is a court subscribed money intended for the operation.
Charges of Violations of RA 9165, the Comprehensive Law against Illegal Drugs of 2002 is being readied by PDEA against the suspect who is temporarily detained at the locked-up cell of Naval MPS.
