Naval, Biliran— A joint operation by the Naval Municipal Police Station and the Bureau of Jail and Management and Penology of the Province of Biliran together with the Philippine Coast Guard conducted an Oplan Galugad/Greyhound Operation about 2:30 in the afternoon on Wednesday, August 30, at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Sitio Bliss, Brgy. Calumpang, in this capital town of the Province of Biliran.
The operating units were led by Police Staff Sergeants Jim Ronald Caimoy and Jeb Jonathan Simborio from Naval MPS personnel together with BJMP personnel led by Senior Jail Officer 1 Richard J Sinangote together with Thirty-Six (36) other BJMP personnel and Coastguard personnel led by SN2 Glenn A Borrel and SN1 Kaniko M Donayre.
The Operation that started at 2: 30 on Wednesday, yielded negative for any contraband such as illegal drugs and paraphernalia. The operation ended at about 3:40 in the afternoon on Wednesday, with no untoward incident happened.
