Naval, Biliran – Mayor Gretchen Espina signed Executive Order No. 70 implementing a curfew on the sale of liquor and the operation of liquor-selling establishments in the Municipality of Naval.

WHEREAS, ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents are a paramount responsibility to the Municipality;

WHEREAS, responsible regulation of the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages is essential to maintain public order and protect community health;

WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of our community to establish a clear and effective curfew for the sale of liquor;

NOW THEREFORE, I GRETCHEN STEPHANIE M. ESPINA, mayor of the Municipality of Naval, by virtue of the power vested in me by law, hereby decree the following:

Section 1. Curfew for the Sale of Liquor-Selling Establishment

1.1 Effective immediately, the sale of alcoholic beverages and the operation of liquor-selling establishments within the Municipality of Naval shall be subject to a curfew.

1.2 All establishment engaged in the sale of alcoholic beverages, including but not limited to liquor stores, bars, restaurants, and convenience stores, are hereby directed to cease the sale of alcoholic beverages at 12:00AM and its operation at 2:00AM every day.

Section 2: Effective Date

This Executive Order shall take effect immediately , with the aim of enhancing public safety and the welfare of our community.
