Naval, Biliran— The Municipal Health Officer (MHO) of this town who conducted a post mortem examination of the cadaver of a female senior citizen found lifeless inside her house revealed that no foul play was discovered to the body of the victim and concluded that it was a natural death when the victim was found lifeless about 7: 30 in the morning on Monday, December 4, in Brgy. P.I. Garcia, of this capital town of the Province of Naval.

Police identified the victim as a certain Jazmine, senior citizen and a resident of the said barangay.

The police said that a lodger of the victim identified as Dailyn, 25, student, and a resident of Brgy Anislagan, here reported to the local police about 8: 30 in the morning on Monday, revealing that she noticed the victim was already lying in a prone position and seems to be lifeless. She said that the victim was last seen by her neighbors in the afternoon of Sunday December 3 outside her abode.

The local police conducted an inquiry to the neighbors of the victim and learned that there were no known individuals holding personal grudges against the victim in their community.

The victim’s lifeless body was immediately brought to the Rural Health Unit of this municipality for examination. According to Dr. Ralph Bueno, MHO Naval RHU, conducted a post-mortem examination at the scene and according to him, the estimated time of death was around 7:00 in the evening on Sunday, December 3, and concluded that the cause of her death was Cerebrovascular Accident, specifically a “Stroke.” There were no signs of foul play.
