Naval, Biliran— Joint authorities led by the local police, together with personnel from the Bureau of Immigration and the Provincial Intelligence Unit of Biliran Provincial Police Office, served the Warrant of Deportation against a British National who has been living in this province for several years at about 9:33 in the morning today, Friday, November 14, in Brgy. Libtong Daku, of this capital town of the Province of Biliran.
Police identified the accused as Daniel James Silk, legal age, a British National, married, a resident of Brgy. Libtong.
The local police said that an intel-driven operation conducted collectively by the joint units led by Naval MPS resulted in the successful implementation of a warrant of Deportation of the British National in Brgy. Libtong here. The police said the British National was informed of the nature of his arrest and was apprised of his constitutional right in a language that he understood and spoke.
The foreign national was immediately brought to the Naval MPS for booking and proper documentation before being taken to Manila for deportation.
