NAVAL, Biliran (BiliranDEO) – The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) – Biliran District Engineering Office (DEO) joined the 2026 International Coastal Clean-upon Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Bernardes Village, Brgy. Atipolo, Naval, Biliran.
With the theme “Working Together for Cleaner Seas and #SeaTheChange,” DPWH-Biliran DEO personnel participated in the clean-up activity as part of the collective effort to protect coastal and marine environments.
The activity was led by OIC-Assistant District Engineer Mark Jan V. Garde, on behalf of District Engineer Irwin L. Antonio.
“Protecting our coastal areas is a shared responsibility. Through activities like this, we hope to encourage everyone to take an active role in keeping our seas and communitiesclean,” Garde said.
