DE ADONGAY INSPECTS MAJOR INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS IN BILIRAN

On-going construction of Almeria Bypass Road. The network development project is designed to provide a wider and safer roads for the increasing vehicular users along Biliran Circumferential Road.

DPWH-BILIRAN DEO accomplished 88.38% of its 2018 project implementation

Above: P50M Construction of Access Road leading To Naval Port is on-going with pouring of concrete. Accomplishment as of December 31, 2017 is 16%. This project covers the entire street of Vicentillo. Vehicles are re-routed to certain streets and early warning devices and traffic personnel are present to provide safety and avoid traffic congestion within the town of Naval especially on Padre Inocentes Street. The project was prioritized because of the traffic congestion along this route during peak hours. Likewise, the existing concrete pavement shows deterioration, hence its prioritization under the FY 2017 DPWH Program.

DPWH- BILIRAN DEO REPORTS 85.11% OF 2016 INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS

The newly completed Construction of 2 Storey 6 Classroom Senior High School Building at Almeria National High School, Almeria, Biliran. The project was under contract with CNE Construction with a contract cost of P8,214,965.05. The completed project will be utilized by more or less 240 Senior High School students.

The presentation of district engineering offices and regional office’s accomplishment on the CY 2016 infrastructure projects wherein Biliran DEO was recognized as the no. 1 top performing district in the implementation of project during the monthly coordination meeting of O.I.C. Regional Director, Edgar B. Tabacon to district engineers and division chiefs on July 19, 2016 at the Regional Office, Baras, Palo, Leyte. The meeting was hosted by Leyte 5th under OIC District Engineer, Eusebio T. Culas.
