Espina, kang Gov. espina man gud nag inusara ra cya while kang Rep.Glenn Chong maayo ang concept.

- political dynasty?

Sound so hopeless.
So sad.

The least we can do is vent out our frustrations in this forum.

Some say life is so cruel and there are 2 things we can do:
1) Face the brutal realities,
2) Overcome them one step at a time and it's up to one of us
how we do it....positively.

Aquarius suggests we join the movement below.

I did and I hope you too and so do with the followers/fans
of your website.

One small step to help ourselves.

Putting their faces on any projects is not "ok". Doing so is an insult the people they're supposed to serve. Chong and Espina are the servants of the people and any "projects" they've made need not be appended by their faces, but rather by quality of the project, how relevant is the project not just for the sake of having a project.

Chong got elected because the people want change, so is Barrack Obama. Will there be change if Chong was reportedly doing what the traditional politicians were doing, that is, putting his faces on any projects "he has done"?

[quote=jalmz;8318]Chong ug Espina, Pariha ra ba ang kinaiya?

- pag butang ug mga nawong sa projects

I dont agree to this. It's the taxes of the working biliranons thats being used for these projects.Politicians are public servants.Biliranons dont owe anything to any of them, so whats the point of the nawong in every projects. It's their job to do these projects in the first place.

Same here I dont know the reason behind this.

- pag butang ug nawong sa mga sakyanan

Sure.Whats the concept?
- political dynasty?

Filipinos are known through out the world for an extended family system, which is great! But such a shame as filipino politics is also driven by thesame system. Just my opinion.

Mumzy, we can change this typical filipino politicians if you, me, and the rest can do one "small step at a time"...this coming election.

The earlier we do it the better. Please sign up the movement if you want change.
You have influence back home - start the people whom you give money to.

It may sound impossible to change the political drama in PI but, hey, look at Mr. O of USA. Even myself I could not believe it but it happened. You never know.(I just hope and pray he can deliver what he promised).

Right?

hello, my friend, Pinoyisip...

I'm all for a change and it should start with the masses. I know it's not easy to persuade politicians to do the right thing, but if we voice our displeasure loud enough, I'm certain that these politicians will think twice in fooling us again....

Please tell me where to sign in....

i have confidence in my president-elect Mr. Obama..it might not be a smooth sailing for him and his adminstration, but i just know that he can do it!!!

I think this discussion is too early to be seriously talked about. One year and 5 months too early that is. Political Careers, Political Alliances, are sometimes undone in the blink of an eye.

Viper,

Some politicians, I think, are planning their dynasty ambitions even their
babies are not born yet.

If we can pre-empt their nefarious motives, the better educated the electorates will be. Again, let's grow up.

Otherwise, the cancer in the PI politics remain untreated unless
you are in the same program...my apology if you don't agree with
the movement.

Let the politicians do their thing jalmz. Of course they won't be called 'politicians', if they will not extol 'their' virtues even if the elections are years away. It is their chosen profession.

I don't understand what you are trying to imply with this sentence.

How do you preempt a deed before its done especially by politicians? I agree, let's grow up and do away with discussing politics for now. Politics divides the people.

Akong nalang binisay-on aron masabtan ko....ug sagolan gamay iningles.

I was not really good in History class but that's my short understanding of the lesson. Now correct me if I'm wrong.

Maybe you can explain to us why you refuse to understand that dynasty in PI does not bode well for the masses for long long time (and no civil war please).... or you can ask more explanations from the
organizer of http://www.endpoliticaldynasty.com/index.html why the call for such movement. Email is just a click away.

Also, maybe he can explain to you much better than me(am not a pol sci nor history major) and hopefully you can share with us what transpires. Fair enough?

:confused::confused:

How do you preempt a deed before its done especially by politicians? I agree, let's grow up and do away with discussing politics for now.

Why do away for now? Do we have to wait when something unacceptable situations are going on? It's about pre-emptive measures. Look what happen on Sep 11, 2001? There were some hints it could happen but nobody acted on it. Same thing in Pearl Harbor. Well, as they say, the rest is history.

:confused::confused::confused:

Politics divides the people.

It's okay for me that we the people are divided politically as long as it's done amicably, peacefully and cheerfully. It's part of growing up and what we cherish called DEMOCRACY and FREEDOM - but let us not abuse them.

By the way, I am no supporter of any politicians in PI for now except the barangay captain in my birthplace(she looks hot) whose efforts after the calamity was extraordinary. Yes, her family and relatives are not in the political world.

How about you, Viper? Whose side are you on. Just curious.
The more we know each other the better we can be friends - if ok with you.

I won't deny that there are no political clans/dynasties here, because there are. Too many in fact.

Have i said anything like i don't/refuse to understand political dynasties? And have i said too that i am in favor of it? Good or Bad, we the people (or if you chose, the voters paid by the winning candidates), deserve who we elect.

Also, maybe he can explain to you much better than me(am not a pol sci nor history major) and hopefully you can share with us what transpires. Fair enough?

Good, you admit now there is such a thing but you don't share your ideas and feelings how the cancer dynasty affects the living and political conditions at home.

Have i said anything like i don't/refuse to understand political dynasties?
Well, you ask for more explanations and so like a good dog, I tried to explain. Satisfied yet?

And have i said too that i am in favor of it?
That's why I ask you back whose side are you on and since you don't reply I assume you want privacy...I respect that.

Good or Bad, we the people (or if you chose, the voters paid by the winning candidates), deserve who we elect.
Voters paid by the winning candidate? How about the losers, they paid too, right? lol!
About vote buying, again, sounds so hopeless so sad so pathetic. I feel bad if I say "mirisi ra kay walay nabuhat bisag gamay para mausab ang kalibutan"...
When I used to vote before, nobody approached me to buy my vote. Maybe nahadlok sila nga ma-insulto naku and even if I did accept the money, I won't tell them whom I voted for.

Let's grow up and do away with discussing politics for now.
Dali-a pud nimo kapuyon oy, seguro mas bata pa ka naku or you run out of ideas?

Politics divides the people.
Well, I respect your decision and I'm glad you are not in China or Russia.

Cheers, people!

Go back to history and we all see Filipinos are very clannish, much more to politics. What's the countermeasures? We as voters must be wise what we really want to a candidate or a politician.

Each one of us has the responsibility for our own acts and face the consequences- good or bad.

One small step for mankind....... Mag-beer muna tayo.
