There are couples who seem to be fine living together without the benefit of (formal) marriage. That is: live-in. The Church teaches that sex should only be within marriage. We know that many simply ignore this teaching. If you are one of those who do not believe in marriage, please explain. And if you are one of those who believe in marriage, please explain too.
It's not a question of which side do you believe, but how you look the situation. Meaning, if you are uncertain to the person you are with or having an intimate relationship although you love him/her but integrity is still vague to you then you may opted give the benefit of the doubt by considering live-in at first then later re-assess if there is a need to pursue marriage or drop it. That's my opinion.
