mao seguro ni nga dunay mga claim nga ang mga tambal na-a gibutang sa capitolyo or politician offices. this is just plain WRONG mentality if i say so.
Why not in the health offices or doctor's office?

we have to grow up or else the political climate in the philippines is just
a laughing stock or good breeding ground for corruption or abuses.

thanks though for the espina helping the poor guy but again a good point for them especially election time is in the air.

now let's see what the chong camp has to say.

    just my cents of opined.

Our family had tried to approach cong. glen chong's help. Wagali xa mag hisgot about politiks. Aside pa ato d la akong mother maoy natabangan naa poy natabangan nga lain. Mitabangan xa without asking kng tawo ba xa ni espina o dili.

Kadtong ilang giingon nga ge pa balik2 maybe wa jud ngadto si cong adto nga time or wa kasabot si cong about ana. As we all know naa poy mga employee nga maoy makapadaot sa ilang labaw tungod sa batasan nga di na maayo, naay estrikta/estrikto nga wa sa lugar. tungod kay pobre lang di na ayuhon ug pag atubang...

This may be late but I'd like to share my opinion regarding this matter. Government and for that matter public officials are there to precisely render service. That is what they always promise during elections, they run because they want to serve the people. Thus, there is no reason why an office or employees of a certain office could not render the necessary service needed by anyone who would ask for assistance. The absence of the official concerned or the boss is also no excuse why people should be asked to return again. In my observation this is the most common mistake of a public official, putting up an office and yet the employees cannot decide what help they can give because they have to ask their boss if it's ok or not. The official concerned should orient his employees as to the limits of what they can decide on and the standard operating procedures for that.

Indeed it is sad to note that our government officials and civil servants seem to lack the zest for service. I'll give you two examples of how rotten service is in government.
In one senator's office, who is a good friend of mine, I noticed that whenever I endorse something they always give me a round about. So I called their attention to this and told them that if the request is not okay then they should tell me immediately so as not to let the person who I endorsed and needed help, to go back again and again to the office. In this way it saves time and effort. And I told them if you cannot decide on this then let me know so that I can tell the senator myself. It turned out that the request was not forwarded to the senator thus the good senator berrated his staff for this and from then on the procedures for actions on requests were corrected and delivery of service to the public made better.

Example 2. Once upon a time I worked in the Office of the President and I was ordered to follow-up a certain document in one of the government offices. When it was time to come up with the document I noticed that it was not yet there. So I decided to visit the agency on my own volition. So when I arived at that office, I did not introduce myself rather I asked the clerk if I could talk to the Department Secretary. The clerk replied her boss was still busy. i stayed for an hour and when I noticed that the clerk was not telling me the truth I texted my subordinate in the office to call the number of the department where I am, and inform the clerk that I am from the Office of the President. The phone rang and the clerk picked it up. I noticed that the clerk and the employees around were so surprised. Lo and behold, she was ashen-faced and profuse with apoligies. So I got the document in two minutes and I was able to speak with the Department Secretary. So you see, this is how our civil servants and employees in government act. It is really a pity that most government employees do not show sincerity in their work.

Well hope that next time our government officials and employees render quick and immediate service so as not to put any undue burden to the people.

In most cases, subordinates follow what their boss did. If the boss is passive, lazy or so called "pa kuyakuyakoy" simply the subordinate will follow the same. That's what make our system corrupt and nil chance of improvement.
