The Family Code requires that the contracting parties in marriage must be a male and a female.

Why do you think that the requirement should be changed?

    or,

Why do you think that the requirement should not be changed?

Marriage is a legal, cultural and religious contract. Legally we should not discriminate. Culturally, we should not judge lest we be judged. The remaining question is whether the church would condone such a marriage.

It seems that any two consenting adults should be legally entitled to marry, but perhaps not with a church wedding.
