i live outside of naval and yes the vote buying definately was implemented in our brgy... the winner paid 200p per vote. to raise the funds he leased out his coconut fields and a house. the barangy is close to naval. i cant say who it was or what brgy as i have had problems with this person before. its very sad to see this happening as the wrong people are getting elected into local positions. so now the people have taken the 200p and what happens to thier lives then for the next 3 years? they will just be forgotten about now... so sad!

vote buying is an integral part of ones political life...corruption in any shape or form will never dissapate...rather, it has become rampant in all four corners of the globe! AND DO YOU KNOW THAT GREEN IS THEIR FAVORITE COLOR!

Vote buying still exist despites the efforts of the authorities, its because the voters patronize it. Especially those who are not well educated, eg. those who lives in a poor villages.

I have great respect for the candidates who din't buy votes, and pity for those did and lost.
