They are too beautiful to eat. It reminds me of the fish sa coral reef ug dili gali sa fish tank nga ma appreciate nimo ang ilang kaanindot. Nganong gipangawil man ni sila? Dili ba ni sila protected?

Kong ang Higatangan Island naay daghang colorful nga mga isda. Most likely, naay coral reef diha. The island can make money by attracting tourists for snorkel and diving trips diha kay ilang bisitahon ang coral reef ug mo appreciate silang tan aw sa mga colorful isda. This would mean money to the local economy kay mobayad man ang mga tourists for simple basic accomodation such as food and lodging plus transportation. I capitalize unta na ninyo dili kay inyong i abuse ang inyong environment and resources. Makakwarta pa hinoon mo ana tungod anang mga isdaa nga inyo na hinoong gipangkawil. Lisod gyod ni kaayong way alamag magpataka na lang. These people need to be educated because they can make money out of this natural resource. Puwedi sad ning i promote as one of the snorkeling & diving destination sa Biliran island.

hi navalian2..
there are two fish sanctuaries in higatangan...kaya there are beautiful isda nga imo nakita sa picture...fishing in the sanctuaries is not allowed..but beyond that people can do what they want except dynamite fishing and cyanide fishing of course...
they're beautiful fish jud bitaw but they exist to be eaten man sad..and dont worry madami pa yan sila kasi may sanctuaries naman sila where they can breed and small fish can grow and be protected and coral reefs are protected too...
people in higatangan are educated...and yes the two fish sanctuaries is open for those who want to go snorkeling and diving ...
i hope my aunt can answer you too about all these, she's the one who is incharge of the sanctuaries there..naa man jud sya sa fisheries...
the sanctuaries provided work for many people too,kc they need to be watched 24/7...it increased fish production sad sa higatangan..
so wala sila magpataka..thank you.
a family in higatangan is building cottages and function halls too , soon it will be open, more people will have jobs..and everything will soon follow ..

mr jalmz..that's what the fish sanctuaries are for!
when they go out they are big already so people can fish them, but still small fish are protected and are growing in the sanctuaries!they go back and breed there..and so the cycle goes..
kung lahat naman eh gusto niyong protektahan at i-preserve aba wala ng makakain ang mga taga higatangan..kawawa naman. i hope you get the idea of the fish sanctuaries.and if you say may iba namang isda isn't that racism of the fish!hahaha but seriously you're saying isda sa bato, but what about yung hindi isda sa bato!so ok sila kainin...
got it?if not pls do ask ms lani obispo comadizo who is in Naval about that.thank you mr jalmz.i believe datu na ang higatangan!hehehe joke3X

These are not your typical fish. I don't think they are for human consumption bisan dako sila ug gamay.

This is not your normal fish makita sa palengke. Only in Higatangan ra gyod, thanks to this site, nga kan on ning isdaa. Ma shock man sad ta niani. Gianognan gyod ko kaayo!!! Sobra pagka beautiful niani, nganong gipangkawil man kini sila? Why can't people appreciate their beauty and at the same time make money out of it by attracting foreigners for snorkeling and diving destination? Personally, I hate to think that people are eating this beautiful fish. We have so many kinds of fish, why this??? They should stop this practice. Maubos gali ning isdaa because of overfishing na wala gyod mga dollars mopaingon sa Higatangan Island. They better take good care of this beautiful resource kay kwarta na mahimo noong bato.
